MY ART HIGHLIGHTS AT THE RIJKS

The Tate does an upside down tree but this tree was in constant light movement from green to white on a film that' was reflected through the Great Hall one side to the other...magical.

The bike path through the Rijks Museum won their access after a big battle.I suggest that this work of art that spans the bike lane outside the Museum is a "statement" as the light are powered by cyclists.

Should have covered a lot of tastes with this selection...

Etienne Maurice Falconet created this statue for Madame de Pompadour (King Louis XV's art-loving mistress) in 1757..lots to see here!

Miniature at its best!

Does this need an introduction....The Night Watch....

I love staircases...

The Last Supper - Marlene Dumas 1953

Dumas took the liberty here of making Christ a solitary, empty figure, above whose head new life appears in a cloud of foetuses.
