BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE ...REIMS

With my established addiction to train trips in France...this one was the best as I have moved up to First Class and saw some of the most beautiful countryside with endless fields of blooming jeune colza.

The train station which is full of energy has a moving monument that pays tribute to those who were deported to the camps in WW II.

Get the pronunciation right when you buy your ticket for Reims ("rance") or you will find yourself heading to the wrong town!

Reasons to go....stunning Cathedral featuring 13th century Gothic arches and

where many French Kings were crowned. 2302 sculpted figures adorn the building...

13 th century Great Rose window (restored)

Chagall's window..

Oh...and of course CHAMPAGNE!
