LIFE IS TOOOOO SHORT!

I just discovered butter from Brittany...Put this fantastic butter with French white asparagus add a French Reisling and life is perfect. Not sure I can leave this behind!!! Returning for my friend Denise's birthday ....but for how long??? This is truly beyond anything in the world of butter!!! C!est superb!!

  1. Yes, French (and Swiss) butter makes all others pale in comparison. Using ingredients of that calibre is what makes all the difference in cooking and is yet another example of the French reverence for quality food. Have you tried brioche for breakfast yet?

  2. When you return north, sample some hard cider served in a picher to keep it cold. We worked our way through Normandy sampling it and found a great variety of ciders, all wonderfully delicious and unlike anything else on Earth. Apples are the pride of the north and they've had a long time working out how best to use them. Terrific at lunch with crepes.
