Renovations everywhere, and the Foucault pendulum as installed in 1851 was being refurbished. The entrance with the huge central space with its Corinthian-style columns just continues my awe for the architecture in this city! The crypt was a moving experience ....finding the revered Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Jean Moulin, a French Resistance hero and Pierre and Marie Curie ...
